Love

Creative X, is the first-ever UX-centered design club at Rutgers University. Upon joining in 2020, I met a talented group of individuals in my school who shared the same passion for design as I do. I attended weekly design discussion meetings and Figma workshops to dip my toes in the field. I felt so inspired and quickly fell in love with the field.

After my first internship in 2021, I wanted to share my design experience with other students at Rutgers and took on the role of the organization’s project director. I led an incubator program called Creative Labs by curating and teaching an 8-week UI/UX design curriculum. I was able to help other students immerse themselves in building their own UX case study to build on their portfolios. I was extremely grateful to be able to mentor and guide a cohort of 18 students per semester.

In my senior year of college, I took on the big step to serve as Co-President of Creative X. I helped orchestrate club initiatives that promoted a safe space for students at any experience level to build their UX Design skills and network.
